In August 2000, Steve Robinson was hired as general manager of WFMT. Under his leadership, 98.7WFMT’s audience and membership have shown significant growth, and he has taken the station into the 21st century by embracing and utilizing new technologies, exposing it to the widest possible audience. With the many new programs and series he has initiated, Steve’s leadership of the WFMT Radio Network has transformed it into an international cultural force.
